Rail Land Development Authority (A Statutory Authority under Ministry of Railways) invites applications from qualified, young, and energetic Indian Nationals for the post of Assistant Project Engineer having recognized degree in Civil Engineering with valid GATE Score in Civil Engineering for its projects located pan-India. The engagement of successful candidates will be on a contract basis (and not on regular basis) initially for a period of three years, subject to an annual review of the candidate’s performance and the requirement of the projects. 

The details of the posts, qualifications required, etc. are as mentioned below:-

1. Name of the Post: Assistant Project Engineer (Civil)/ Contract

2. Total Vacancies: 45 Nos.

3. Salary: Assistant Project Engineer (Civil)/ Contract Pay per Month: Basic: Rs.35000 + Perks: Rs. 14000 @ 40% of B.P. + PF: Rs. 4900 + Mobile call charges: Rs. 700 Total Rs. 54600/-

4. Tentative Stations: Tirupati & Nellore in Andhra Pradesh, Guwahati/ Kamakhya in Assam, Gaya & Muzaffarpur in Bihar, Chandigarh in Chandigarh (UT), Panipat in Haryana, Surat, Udhna, & Somnath in Gujarat, Jammu Tawi in J & K (UT), Ranchi in Jharkhand, Bangalore Cantt in Karnataka, Ernakulam, & Kollam in Kerala, Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh, Mumbai (3) & Nagpur in Maharashtra, Bhubaneshwar & Puri in Odisha, Puducherry in Puducherry (UT), Ludhiana & Amritsar in Punjab, Udaipur, Jaipur (2) & Kota (2) in Rajasthan, Kanyakumari, Rameshwaram & Madurai in Tamilnadu, Hyderabad in Telangana, Kathgodam in Uttarakhand, Lucknow, Kanpur, Prayagraj & Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, New Jalpaiguri & Asansol in West Bengal & 04 other stations to be decided later on.

5. Qualifications: Full-time BE/ B. Tech. (Civil Engineering) with not less than 60% marks) from a UGC/AICTE approved university incorporated by an Act of Central or State legislature in India or other Educational Institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956

6. Mandatory Conditions: Applicant should have a valid GATE score (Subject code: CE), Candidates who have completed M.Tech/ME in Civil Engineering discipline are also eligible to apply provided they possess a valid GATE score (Subject Code: CE).

7. Age Limit: Minimum age: 21 years as of 23.12.2021 Maximum age: 28 years as on 23.12.2021

8. Medical Standards: Candidates should be in sound health. No relaxation in health standards will be allowed. They will have to obtain a medical fitness certificate as per standards specified by RLDA at their own cost, if any, from the Chief Medical Officer of the district where they are residing at present.

9. Selection Process: The only parameter for selection is the valid GATE percentile for Civil Engineering (Subject Code: CE) of eligible applicants. In case, the valid GATE percentile of two candidates is the same, then the age-wise senior candidate will get preference in selection as well as choice of posting.

10. How to apply:

I.  Before applying applicants should ensure that they satisfy all the necessary conditions and requirements of the position. Applicants fulfilling the eligibility criteria and willing to be considered for the post should submit an application as per the proforma given in Annexure-I. Applications not submitted in the prescribed format or found incomplete in any respect will be summarily rejected.

II.  The application should be filled up by the applicant in his/her own handwriting and should ensure that all the entries are properly filled and are correct. 6.3 The applicants working in Govt. / PSUs may note that this is a short-duration contract. However, they will be required to produce NOC before their medical examination and shall have to resign from their parent organization on their selection. 6.4 Duly filled in an application form with declaration copied in own handwriting and after putting left thumb impression & signature in the boxes provided for the purpose should be scanned along with proof of age (10th/Matric certificate), 12th certificate, Graduation certificate in B.Tech/BE (Civil) and valid GATE score card duly showing percentile for Civil Engineering (Subject code: CE) and a single PDF (maximum size 20MB) be sent on email id psecontract@gmail.com by 23.12.2021. It may be noted that the said PDF should not be password protected. 6.5 No physical form is required to be sent at present. However, the physical form filled up as above and other documents should be kept safely by the applicant as they will be required to be submitted to this office prior to engagement.
